I sphunn across a wonderful new site, well new to me, called SEOname. The site seems to have a blackhat vibe to it but claims that it does not promote blackhat techniques but that it provides awareness in hopes that the exploits will someday be patched. But back to the tools! My favorite is the “Rank” tab which contains a bucket of tools that include a Fake PageRank Checker, Alexa Rank Checker, Google PageRank Checker, Ranking Checker, Multi-Site Google PR/Alexa Rank Checker, and more. Wow, and that is only from one of the tabs on their site. They also have a slew of tools under Header/Tag Tools, Keyword Tools, Link Tools, and Source Code tools.
I want to also give SEOname some props on their development skills. I like their text resizing and fluid width buttons, along with their RSS button, at the top right of the site. It shows some great functionality.

And you gotta love their statement on CSS and 2.0 design at the bottom of their site!

One of the coolest plugins for Wordpress has to be the Photo Dropper Flickr plugin. I have just uploaded it and am playing around with it.

This tool lets you search millions of Flickr photos and add them to your Wordpress posts with just 1 click and without having to leave your blog. The plugin puts itself right into your write post page and uses a search box to find relevant photos, allowing you to add them to your post in small, medium, or large format with one click! Everyone knows that providing images really makes your posts more interesting.

I almost forgot the mention the best part, attribution links are automatically added underneath the images to comply with the Creative Commons license rules! Gotta love tools that keep you protected legally.

I found this great add on for Firefox that integrated Tinyurl.com functionality. This add on lets you select a url and then turn it into a tinyurl via the Tools> TinyUrl menu in your Firefox browser. This is really convenient, especially if you are a Twitter junkie like myself.

But and even easier way to use this wonderful add on is to utilize the right click feature. This allows you to right click on any link and gives you the option to create a tiny url for the link or for the page.

This is great and yet another shining example of why Firefox is hands down the best browser to use, especially for professional search marketers! With all of the SEO, Web development, and other functional add ons and plugins you cannot go wrong. So if you want to save yourself a ton of time use Firefox, and keep an eye out for my Firefox Tools series on my favorite add ons and plugins for Firefox!

If you are like me and are on a budget but want to distinguish your self in the online community then you need a custom logo for your site. But most of us do not have the access to a graphic designer, nor the time to learn Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design programs. Have no fear, Logo Samurai is here! See my logo, I got it from Logo Samurai for only $37! For $37 you can get a custom logo designed with one revision. Of course you can pay for additional revisions if you want to. Check out their portfolio, they have some pretty cool logos that they have designed and many of them have a definite Web 2.0 style to them.
They also offer other services like custom headers, banners, e-covers, character design, corporate ID design, and logo animation! All of these services are at a very reasonable price for the quality of work. And for those of you that are saying to yourselves, “ah, those designs are not that great,” keep in mind that the designers have to do what the clients want and also keep in mind that for the price, the quality is excellent. If you want to go hire a professional and pay upwards of $500-$2000+ then Logo Samurai may not be for you. But if you are like the masses and need a cool design and do not have $2000 to throw around then Logo Samurai IS for you! Thank you Logo Samurai!
Computers are a combination of hardware and software. Microsoft started building computer software. Some websites give their visitors the option to download software sometimes. Many websites offer online personal finance software. While surfing the internet you can collect software information. Software is equipped with software tools which enhance the application of the software.
