If you are like me and are on a budget but want to distinguish your self in the online community then you need a custom logo for your site. But most of us do not have the access to a graphic designer, nor the time to learn Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design programs. Have no fear, Logo Samurai is here! See my logo, I got it from Logo Samurai for only $37! For $37 you can get a custom logo designed with one revision. Of course you can pay for additional revisions if you want to. Check out their portfolio, they have some pretty cool logos that they have designed and many of them have a definite Web 2.0 style to them.
They also offer other services like custom headers, banners, e-covers, character design, corporate ID design, and logo animation! All of these services are at a very reasonable price for the quality of work. And for those of you that are saying to yourselves, “ah, those designs are not that great,” keep in mind that the designers have to do what the clients want and also keep in mind that for the price, the quality is excellent. If you want to go hire a professional and pay upwards of $500-$2000+ then Logo Samurai may not be for you. But if you are like the masses and need a cool design and do not have $2000 to throw around then Logo Samurai IS for you! Thank you Logo Samurai!

OK people, this is one of THE best SEO tools out there. The fact that this tool is absolutely FREE is completely amazing to me. I have been using this tool for the past year and it has been a savior many times over. What’s interesting is that I notice they have a little text link at the top of the site “RU” that takes you to a Russian version of the site. Take notice because news on the street is that Russia is experiencing economic growth and a greater proliferation of the middle class.
OK back to the nitty gritty. This amazing tool scrapes the search results and notes the rankings for sites. So you can type in a URL and find out all of the terms that a site is ranking for in the top 20 results. Tip: signing up for a full account allows you to do a full search for domain name, meaning that it will search for rankings on internal pages as well! Signing up is easy and free. You can search the US version of Google, the Russian version of Google, and the US version of MSN. I think that there is some weird thing with Yahoo! that does not allow anyone to scrape their data. SEO Digger has a database that consists of 44 million unique keywords and keyphrases! They also allow you to export the info to excel giving you the flexibility to slice and dice your data any way that you want.
The site also shows you Overture and Wordtracker keyword counts, although I find these numbers to be way off, they are good to have to just get an idea of what terms are more popular than others. Any keyword analysis tools that one uses need to be taken with a grain of salt because the numbers are not really close to being accurate, ever. We use keyword analysis tools to give us a better idea of what terms are being used for search and then which terms might be more popular for search than others. One should not ever try to use keyword analysis tools to predict traffic, revenue, etc. But I will cover keyword analysis in another post. The fact that this site combines both keyword rankings and keyword analysis is unprecedented.
Unfortunately they are only able to update the database every two weeks so the data is not perfect every time. But it does give you a really good idea of your rankings and keywords. Many people have no idea what their site is actually ranking for. The only way to tell before this was to look at analytics data and guess, but those are not very solid ways of going about it!
This tool is great for SEO sales people because it allows you to view the strength, keywords, and rankings of any site very quickly. This tool is also good for analyzing potential sites to buy links on. If the site that you want a link from has a PR of 5 but is not ranking for any of its terms then it is a bad site to get a link from. Remember that rankings and traffic are better than PageRank!

Happy New Year to all! I look forward to a great ‘08! Now down to business.
Canonicalization, wow that is a big word! Even the most savvy SEO guru will have trouble pronouncing it. But that’s OK, as long as they know what it is and how to fix it. Because almost every site that I come across has canonicalization issues. Matt Cutts had a good post about canonicalization from the Google perspective here. But what it boils down to is the idea that www.domain.com, domain.com, www.domain.com/index.html, domain.com/index.html, etc. can all be different pages in a site. So if you can type all of these variations of YOUR domain into your browser and the same homepage comes up then the search engines may be penalizing you for duplicate content!
So now you are feverishly typing these variations into your browser to check right? Well if not, then you better get going!
And right about now you are thinking, “well how can I fix this?” There are a couple ways. Now there is a section of Google’s webmaster console that allows you to specify to Google which you prefer, www.domain.com or domain.com. This was a very nice and welcomed addition to the webmaster console a while back. I believe that they added this to not only make their index more relevant but also because the community of webmasters was clamoring for it. My preferred way of solving canonicalization issues is to use the 301 redirect. My friend, former colleague, and current organic SEO specialist at Shopzilla, Michael Nguyen had a nice post on how to do this on an Apache server.
Wireless technology in computers and computer accessories is very effective and popular. Now there are wireless internet providers. In the category of phones, wireless phone is working since long. Other accessories like wireless webcam and wireless keyboard are selling like hot cakes. Internet providers now offer wireless internet coverage and install wireless internet equipment at your site. Wi-Fi Planet renders wifi connections for wireless networking protocols.
